Syd has celiac (womp womp) but apart from some small cautions, use/eat anything you need!
Please feel free to eat and use anything you need in the kitchen!
Trash/Recycling:
Trash and recycling are in the pull out cabinet to the left of the sink, trash in front, recycling in back. Extra trash bags are under the sink, and so are extra reusable recycling bags. The trash and recycling bins are out the back yard in the alley. The back gate is a little sticky so you may have to use two hands to open it.
We reuse the recycling bags, so you can empty it out into the bin and then throw the dirty bag into the laundry room hamper. Replace with a clean one.
Glass gets put in the canvas bag hanging from the shelves. If it gets heavy you can put it on the ground, Iggy won't mess with it.
Caution:
Syd does unfortunately have celiac and we try to keep a GF kitchen but we'll put away anything that is absolutely a no-go for cross contamination (mainly wooden utensils and cast irons).
If you do bring gluten into the house and end up using condiments or things that you need to use a utensil to spread, ex: putting peanut butter on a slice of bread, feel free to take more than you need with a clean utensil and put it in a small bowl and try to not double dip into the main jar/container. If you end up double dipping, please use a marker from the fridge magnet basket and mark it so we can know which Syd can continue to use!
If you use the baking sheets, make sure you use a layer of parchment paper or foil on the pan.
Otherwise, you can go ahead and stick pretty much everything into the dishwasher on a normal cycle.
